These sizes allow for 1/8" trim top, bottom, and one side. Keep live matter 3/8" from all sides that bleed. Perfect alignment of type or design across gutter of two facing pages cannot be guaranteed. Allow 1/8" safety at gutter of each page for type running across gutter. Indicate trim on proof or mechanical. A ruled proof must be supplied when critical positioning is required.

Required materials:

Film negatives, right-reading, emulsion side down. Color keys, matchprints, and proofs must be supplied with film negatives.

Recommended screen for four-color: 133 lines. Black-and-white maximum total density: 85%. Two-color maximum total density: 160%. Four-color maximum density: 300%. No screen color to exceed 85%.

In printing two-color (black and one other color) ads, the Publisher reserves the right to match the second color as accurately as possible by using process colors.

Special Units:

All special units, such as gatefolds, inserts, and multiple-page advertisements necessitating special positioning or other than normal printing, must be discussed in advance with Channel magazineÕs production department in order to establish mechanical feasibility and rates. If not ordered, all materials are then destroyed.

Deadlines:
